Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Karen, the Owner of Silva Organizing Solutions.
My Background: My professional background was in accounting. I began my career as a Certified Public Accountant, working both in the corporate world and as a forensic accountant.
Although the details, organization and routine of accounting came naturally to me, I knew from a young age that Organizing was my Passion! As a child, I thought I was “normal” and that everyone thought organizing was fun. I learned differently when I had young children and my friends started asking me to help them organize their houses while our children had playdates. That’s when I learned that my Passion could actually help transform other people’s daily lives. Fast forward to being an empty nester – that’s when I took the leap and left the corporate world to follow my passion.
Add to that professional experience, the privilege and personal experience that I had to be able to help my aging parents as they went through the stages from being independent business owners to needing help with physical and mental tasks as they grew older. Through that personal experience, I learned how important it was for them and for my siblings and I, to have trusted people in place to assist them with both simple things (such as coordinating daily tasks, managing mail, and paying bills) and more complicated things (such as gathering financial info for tax professionals, reviewing medical insurance claims, overseeing emails for phishing scams, etc.). That’s when my passion grew to serving people with those needs – seniors, busy professionals, and/or high worth individuals
My Desire For My Clients: By using my skill set as both a financial organizer and a professional organizer, I want to bring you, your family and/or your clients peace of mind in knowing that you have a trusted professional to oversee your needs – whether those needs are for your physical space (downsizing) or your financial space (daily money management).
